If your child does not meet the program criteria after evaluation, you have two options:

You'll be contacted after the evaluation to indicate your preference. If your child isn't yet ready for Hifz at all, our team may also informally suggest the pre-Hifz program at MAGR. Visit magr.org or email secretary@magr.org for that.

Your child must be able to read Arabic and demonstrate age-appropriate maturity in a classroom setting. The Sahwah team evaluation assesses both.

For the current registration system, tuition is paid at the time of registration alongside the $25 testing fee. We are working on a save-card-and-charge-later option that will let you pay only the $25 fee upfront and have tuition auto-charged after your child is approved. Once it's live, you'll see both options at the payment step.

The $25 registration/testing fee is paid upfront in either case.

Your tuition is automatically refunded within seven days. You don't need to request a refund. It's processed automatically once the rejection decision is recorded. The $25 registration/testing fee is not refunded.

Yes. The AM-only option is available at half the full-program price. The full program covers both the AM session (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM) and the after-Dhuhr session (1:00 PM to 2:45 PM).

Partial attendance is different from selecting only the AM session. If you register for the full program but your child attends only part of the program dates, you still pay full price. There is no pro-rated refund for early departure. The only way to pay less is to register for the AM-only option from the start.

If the program reaches capacity (20 students) before you register, your registration goes onto a wait list. Wait-listed families still pay the $25 registration/testing fee at submission. If a spot opens, the next family on the wait list is contacted in order to schedule an evaluation.

You will be contacted within 48 hours of submitting your registration to schedule the evaluation.

The program runs from Monday, June 8, 2026 through Thursday, July 16, 2026. Classes are held Monday through Thursday each week.

Total: 6 weeks, 4 days a week, 2 sessions per day. A child enrolled in the full program attends both sessions each day.

Children must be age 7 or older and able to read Arabic. There is no upper age limit.

Pricing scales with the number of children registered together. Siblings cost less per child. The $25 testing fee is per child either way.
